uBeam- About Wireless Electricity

I just read this article at INC about the startup uBeam, which is working on a device that uses sound waves to send power to your phone, computer, or anything else that needs charging.

This sounds huge, especially if you think you can get rid of all the different chargers you have at home. But to make this happen they will need to assure that it …

1. Can be used for really every device which is “chargeable”, independent of manufacturer alliances

2. It won’t harm your health (regarding the discussions about e.g. wireless internet radiation)

… then it could work! Let’s see what they will finally come up with after receiving high investments. Why not Apple, Google or Tesla are working on such an idea? Ok – Apple is earning a lot of money with their overpriced charging equipment.
